Director of Engineering and Product Development

Marc-Yvon joined ComSonics in 2008, and currently serves as Director of Engineering and Product Development for ComSonics. In this role, Marc-Yvon is responsible for strategic guidance of the development process from initial design to end-of-life product planning. With ComSonics’ history of producing innovative and user friendly designs, an ongoing challenge is the integration of emerging technologies into the company’s growing product offering, while balancing time-to-market demands. Marc-Yvon and his talented team of engineers, are credited with 12 new product introductions since 2008, and six US Patents awarded to ComSonics. Marc-Yvon has 36 years of diversified experience in the telecommunication and test equipment industries. He spent 27 years with Nortel Networks working in Product Development, Manufacturing and Test Engineering, and Installation and Commissioning. 15 of those years were spent in management from Manufacturing Operations to Supply Chain Operations. Marc-Yvon holds an equivalent to a three year EET (Electrical Engineering Technology) degree from Collège Lionel Groulx.
