Electronics Technician

ComSonics currently has openings for an Electronics Technician position in the Harrisonburg, VA facility, on second shift. Qualified candidates should have a strong mechanical aptitude. Previous assembly and soldering skills are a plus as well as some
knowledge of electronics. 

Surface Mount Technology Operator

Position:
CEMSI, an electronics manufacturer in Weyers Cave, VA, is seeking a fulltime Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Operator for manufacture of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). This position will be responsible for all facets of running an SMT Line, including Pick and Place Machines, Stencil Printer, Reflow Ovens and AOI Machines. Duties include, but are not limited to: Set‐Up, Machine Programming, Operation, Troubleshooting and Repair when required of surface mount assembly equipment. Qualifications include: high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years related automated PCBA equipment operation experience including advanced automated machine programming skills, excellent MS Office, calibration skills, and preventive maintenance skills. A two‐year technical degree is preferred. This is an advanced level position.

Assembler

Position:
CEMSI, an electronics manufacturer in Weyers Cave, VA, is seeking a full-time Assembler. This position will be responsible for the operations necessary for assembly of electronic and mechanical assemblies of various electro-mechanical devices from prepared documentation. Qualifications include: high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of demonstrable soldering/desoldering skills, mechanical assembly skills, basic knowledge of PC operations, and IPC 610 and J-STD-001 certification or ability to obtain. Ability to solder to Class II and Class III for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies is preferred.
