Sr. SALES Representative - West

Job Summary:
ComSonics, Inc., a leading provider of test equipment for the telecommunications industry, is looking for an experienced sales professional. This sales professional will be responsible for direct sales of ComSonics’ core products to the cable and telecom industries in the western region which includes Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah and Arizona.

Successful candidates should have strong technical knowledge of the cable TV industry and a minimum of 3 years direct sales experience. Bachelor’s degree required or a combination of education and equivalent successful track record in direct sales of technical products. Telecom experience a plus! Does require residence within the western territory, near a major airport.

Calibration Technician

Job Summary:
This position travels to customer sites throughout the United States verifying CATV test equipment calibration, and performing minor
cosmetic repairs. This position also assists in the documentation of procedures for the Calibration Manual and will insure regular maintenance
of the assigned vehicles.

Qualified applicants will have a strong electronics background, a minimum of a one-year certificate from a college or technical school and a
minimum of 12 months calibration lab experience. Excellent customer service skills and a high level of professionalism are required. Must also
have experience using Microsoft Office products, with proficiency using Excel.

A valid driver’s license from the state of residence and proof of an acceptable driving record are required. Candidates must possess the ability
to safely operate a truck and trailer and be available to travel for three-week periods of time, including weekend travel and work while in the field. Also
requires driving long distances independently on a regular basis.

This salaried position provides a work cycle of three weeks on, two weeks off.
There is no state residence requirement so applicants may reside anywhere in the United States.


Electronic Technician, Line Repair A

Job Summary:
Performs all operations necessary in the diagnosis and/or repair of ComSonics products. 

Job Qualifications:

Education: 
High School graduate or GED

Experience: 
Minimum 2 years mechanical and electronic experience

Skills:
Basic math skills,
Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports and
correspondence
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees

Repair Services Driver – Mid-West Route(Chicago Territory)

Job Description:
This position calls on assigned cable systems within dynamic routes in the multi-state mid-west territory as assigned to pick up and deliver electronics equipment, as well as support the efforts of Repair Services Representatives by promoting the sale of company repair services. Requires extensive travel with overnight stay approximately 4 times weekly.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Proven computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft products (Excel, Word.)
  • Ability to travel 3-4 nights per week regularly.
  • Valid driver’s license from state of residence and proof of acceptable driving record.
  • Requires residence within reasonable proximity of Indianapolis, IN

Pref:

  • Previous route experience and customer service experience.

SMT Operator

Job Summary:
This advanced-level position will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting manufacturing processes, and operating surface mount assembly equipment in the manufacture of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA).

Education/Experience:

  • Two-year technical degree preferred

  • At least 3 years related automated PCBA equipment operation experience including advanced automated machine programming skills.

    Job Summary:
    This advanced-level position will be responsible for responsible for performing all operations necessary for functional test, alignment and calibration of printed circuit boards, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.

    Job Qualifications:

    Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • At least 3 years related experience with ability to troubleshoot to component level.
  • Skills:

  • Experience using automated calibration equipment and automated test equipment,
  • Soldering/desoldering skills, and
  • Experience in MS Office to include Excel.

    Job Summary:
    This position is responsible for the operations necessary for assembly of electronic and mechanical assemblies of various electro-mechanical devices from prepared documentation.

    Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of basic mechanical assembly skills
  • Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of PC operations
  • Soldering/desoldering skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Certifications:

  • IPC 610 and J-STD-001 (or willing to obtain)
